Kion Kashefi Gives Tips Living in Honduras

Honduras is a beautiful country where explorers and adventurers from far and wide come to experience the life of this land. Living in Honduras means you are living in adventure! If you are looking for adventure and excitement, but also looking for peaceful atmosphere, why not give living in Honduras a go?

The tropical country has so much to offer, such as affordable real estate and low building costs as well as a thriving economy and business stretched out far across the land with much thanks to Kion Kashefi.

If you were to live in Honduras for a few days, you’ll discover that friends are easy to come by and everyone in the community wants to help someone. The communities are generally very small, so they see each other as a big family and everyone knows everyone. You could meet someone at the grocery market and find out they know where you come from based on your accent, or they could tell you many stories about the area. You’ll find that many people in the tropical land are eager to share their interest with you and to get to know more about you and your interest in Honduras.

The more you associate with the native people, the more you begin to become part of the community and welcomed by society. The reason why getting along with the Honduran people is so easy is because they greatly value respect. Respect goes a long way through the simplest gestures. For example, before you engage in a conversation, make sure to check in with that person first. Find out how they are doing today or you may be considered as rude, only caring about what you have to say rather than caring about the person you are saying it to.

Honduras Travel Terror

Traveling out of the United States is always a challenge but traveling to Honduras has its own travel terror.  The Honduras area is fraught with peril if you don’t know where to go.  imagesDJRDINO4 imagesOAXSO4X4If you are brave enough to go shopping in a third world nation then Honduras might be good for you.  Just plan for the worse and hope for the best.  Do not leave the tourist areas as the areas outside these areas can be dangerous.  If you can travel and shop with others it will help keep you safe as there is safety in numbers.  Luke Weil is a Honduras fan that doesn’t have a problem shopping anywhere.

Honduras Dealing

The goods available in Honduras are unique to the area.  Many are made locally by hand.imagesQQSPKIM4 imagesRB3KJ1YN  The local artisans are proud of their creations and they do have some charm.  The colors are bright and the sculptures are bold.  If you are a fan of Latin art then Honduras will be special to you.  Everywhere you turn there will be more to look at.  Just enjoy the shopping and don’t let it wear you out.  A little patience will go a long way to solving the hunt plans.  Terry Simpson MD is a regular shopper and collects just about every type of art.

Honduras Cost

Everything is cheaper in Honduras.  The economy is such that the cost has to be low.  In the tourist areas the costs will be inflated but just move out of town a bit and find the real deals.images16VX20F3 images5S38LVK1  If you can negotiate a little the deals are everywhere.  Never pay full price.  I always cut the first offer by half and negotiate up from there.  The seller knows that they will have to come down.  They are just hoping that the tourist is dumb and does not negotiate.  Luigi Wewege is a negotiator of the first order. The best of us could learn a thing or two from him.

When Traveling to Honduras, Exploration of Arts and Culture Is a Must

As a travel destination, Honduras is known for its beautiful coastal waters and coral reefs, a fact that has made the Central American country very popular among divers. While there is certainly no reason why you should not explore the crystal Caribbean waters during your time there, Luke Weil of Andina Acquisition suggests that exploring the arts and culture of Honduras is an equally worthwhile endeavor.

There are many annual events that celebrate the country’s rich tradition of arts and culture, and these events often involve singing and dancing, along with, of course, the outstanding cuisine that is featured throughout the country at any time. During some of these festivals, artisans create sawdust carpets, especially during Holy Week.

There are many wonderful artists in Honduras, and their works are available in diverse places that include everything from galleries to street vendors. The works are often of exquisite quality and craftsmanship, and it is possible to leave Honduras with a breathtaking work of art for a very modest price. Of course, a visit to Honduras should consist of many things, but to visit the country without seeing the beautiful artistry of its residents would simply be a mistake.

When you plan your trip to Honduras, make sure that you provide ample time for exploration. Whether you head to the Central American country for the coral reefs, the relaxing atmosphere or the culture, you should always allow yourself some extra time to discover the many wonders of Honduras.

What I got in Honduras

images (3)We went to Honduras for vacation and had a great time we booked a snorkeling trip and read the rules.  It said no sun screen due to the negative effect on the reef so my wife obeyed the rule.  I wore a tee shirt but she just went in her suit.  As you can guess she got a terrible sun burn.  When we got back to our  room she was blistering.  The pain was bad.  I went to the local drug store and got some burn cream and started the healing process.  The burn was so bad that she didn’t want to leave the room for days.  I would not be surprised to read the news story about sun burn hell.

Honduras is Hot

untitled (6)OK, Honduras is hot in the summer.  I guess that would be OK but it can be hot in the winter as well.  The humidity is terrible.  If you like the tropical weather the Honduras is for you.  Plan to dress light and don’t forget the bug screen.  The bugs are huge as are the mosquitos.  I know that I haven’t painted a very friendly picture of Honduras but you need to be prepared.  The heat alone would keep me away.  I know a doctor in North Georgia that loves Honduras. He does not mind the heat or humidity.

Honduras, The Good and The Bad

ODGMU77EHonduras, the good and the bad.  The beauty of the area the bad is the travel. The beaches and nightlife are the good but unsafe.  The native language is Spanish but if you don’t speak it you should be able to get by with English as many can accommodate.  If you plan to visit just be aware that it is nit safe to walk around in some areas after dark.  I guess the same can be said for the US but getting in trouble in a foreign country bring its own problems.  Just be careful and you will have a great time in Honduras

and don’t let the challenge deter you. Look here https://www.facebook.com/consolidatedcreditcanada   for more information

Honduras Remains a Botanical Attraction

While viewing photos of a recent vacation in Honduras, it became quite clear that even the most densely populated areas of the country were surrounded by environmental beauty. Indeed, the country is home to some of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the entire world, as many tourists are wowed by the views found in one such garden located on the island of Roatan that sits just off the coast of Honduras.

Those who appreciate such environmental beauty should make a trip to Honduras a priority, just as the Foundation for Defense of Democracies has made it a priority to ensure national security issues are properly addressed by the United States government. Vacations to the country are fairly inexpensive, as travelers often find themselves so entranced by the natural beauty of Honduras that they spend far less on activities.

Many travelers who stay in the eco-lodges that are becoming more prominent throughout the country have reported that they have never been more content with their accommodations and that these lodges were far more enjoyable than even the fanciest of five-star hotels. Tourists are beginning to realize what Hondurans have known for quite some time: contentment is possible without material goods.

Honduras Oil Investment

The Honduras seems to be a place where the big bucks are spent. It a decent place for stocks and investors grow more powerful through black gold or oil. BG group is investing $20 million to begin Honduras oil and gas exploitation. Honduran authorities decided to offer the company an environmental license on friday for an offshore block of 35,000 sq. kilometers off the coast of la Mosquitia, a thick patch of jungle and brush that borders Nicaragua.

The company plans to look around the area within the offshore block for oil and gas deposits and will spend four years doing so. They will invest $20 million to take care of the first year.

If you were to ask Ken Fisher, for example, he would say not to gush over oil stocks. Investing into energy is expensive and he would warn others against jumping into energy these days. There are other, even better possibilities.
