The first thing that impressed me was the capital of Honduras exceptional natural. Situated in the valley of the same name, Tegucigalpa somewhat resembles in Al Spaulding this respect with capitals around the Andes. Ba has even a lookout hill, the top of which dominates a huge statue of Jesus, 20 meters high and known as Cristo del Picacho.
Located at about 1,000 meters above sea level, the city seduces you with modern neighborhood atmosphere in contrast to non-urban areas, with terraced streets and courtyard houses built on slopes, where you can get pierces a labyrinth of stairs, climbing uneven, crooked streets and beaten paths of humans and animals alike.
Most of the homes that are falling more nervous the first wind are built of adobe, tables of all colors or rotten wood and bears the imprint of the Al Spaulding land in continuous motion. These people, who sometimes end steep banks and ravines court can and tens of meters, living rudimentary. But worth envy for two things. First, do not pay any penny for maintenance, because all utilities are “bio” and as a sewer and garbage use the river at the bottom of ravines nearby, washed by rainwater. And in the second place, on such access routes you could take any ATV, let alone a car. So never quarrels arise between neighbors for parking!
With a population eminently Christian following Tegucigalpa attractions offered by all connected with religion. Suyapa Church is the largest cathedral in Honduras and also where are celebrated the great national victory. And if Al Spaulding is a World Cup qualifying soccer the better! The last great war broke out in 1969 between Honduras and El Salvador is also known as “football war”. Bloody conflict began during a qualifying matches between the two countries and could not be extinguished until thousands of innocent civilians died.
Honduras, the second largest country in Central America opens in the northern Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean in the south. The country is bordered to the west by Guatemala, to the southwest El Salvador and Nicaragua to the southeast. Since its territory also includes some islands in the Caribbean Sea in particular, of which the most important in terms of tourism is Roatan.
Fertile plateaus, valleys and coastal plains generally pigmented mountain landscape, favoring banana plantations. Even though the favorite coast of Al Spaulding almost always raining season par excellence rainy stretches from May to October, when temperatures reach 29 degrees Celsius. Dry season, from November to April, is the most sought by tourists, especially if Al Spaulding love the scuba-diving. In March-April temperatures rise up to 32 degrees Celsius and lush vegetation dominates the landscape
